Movie Poster

The Movie Poster idea shown first here, was created as a mock up for what could eventually become our actual movie poster. However, after being informed I was not allowed to use images from the internet to create a poster, I had to change my idea. The second poster is my final poster idea.
This is my idea for a Film Poster for our film. The programs I used to create this poster were Microsoft Word, Paint and the website www.dafont.com. The main image is one that I took myself whilst filming our film. I believed this image portreys the main characters story quite clearly, she is alone and looks rather depressed, portreying that she is sad. This fits with the tagline I have chosen, as if the main character has wrote this herself 'All I wanted was to be happy'. The name of our film is displayed to the right of the image, in large clear underlined text, making the title of our film clear. The release date is also clearly shown near the bottom left of the image, informing people when our film is available to view. At the bottom, I have put all the details of our film such as the Director and who stars in the film, in order to relay this information to the audience. Moreover, I have put a National Newspapers opinion on the film, in order to 'talk it up'.
